Perspective sketch

A pen sketch of a small seating area outside the Library of Birmingham.

The area was fairly busy with people making use of the seating. The planting was fairly scarce with young maidenhair trees with yellow/green leaves. I thought the design was pleasant and I think the autumnal yellow colour of the trees complements the gold on the front face of the library. However, I believe more ground planting would improve the site further along with a different material for the paths between planting beds. This is because the ground has been kicked up where people have been sat on the wooden benches.
