A small watercolour and pen sketch of a tree I saw on Cheltenham high street (outside the front of the Cosy Club). I believe it to be a White Himilayan Birch (Betula utilis jacquemontii) but I am not 100% sure. I liked the way to bike looked locked to the side of the metal frame so decided to take a photo and sketch.

Here are a few sketches over the past few weeks from my sketchbook. I have used different objects around my house to create some patterns. For example, I have used old bass guitar strings dipped in paint to create the colourful texture.

A sketch of a telephone mast on my road, drawn with permanent marker. The background is made by brushing bleach over the top a powder paint wash. 

  A drawing of a White-faced Capuchin drawn on electrical insulation tape. I drew this using a black permanent marker and a white paint marker. I am trying to increase the number of mediums I draw in, as well as drawing on different surfaces and textures.
